As the Marketing & Communications Manager for ARCK—an educational non-profit committed to fostering emotional and academic development for grades K-8 in under-resourced Boston Public Schools— I was tasked with creating email campaigns to engage the target audience and enhance donation efforts.

Email marketing campaigns focused on fundraising outreach, donor retention, introducing new programs, timely organizational updates, and highlighting artwork produced by students who participated in ARCK's curriculum, and seasonal outreach.

Content: Collaborated on copywriting, breaking up text into digestible parts with strong headlines to support quick consumption. Implementing relevant subject lines to boost open rates.

Best practices for typographic hierarchy (headers, subheaders, body copy) were utilized for scannability and readability.

Optimization: Each email followed industry best practices to optimize open rates and click performance, with clear and compelling CTA's to drive engagement. Ensured mobile responsiveness for all emails sent, adjusting elements for mobile design as needed.

The 2024 Fall Newsletter featured a new banner design with an updated tagline "Unlocking Minds Through Creativity," to be used on future email newsletters as part of the brand awarenes.

Each campaign adhered to ARCK’s brand guidelines and brand messaging, ensuring consistent use of color palettes, typographic styles, and brand voice. This attention to detail supported cohesive storytelling across digital and social platforms, strengthening brand recognition and trust.

Exceeded the average open rate of 35.63%. The 2024 Fall Email Newsletter had an impressive open rate of 51.6%, ARCKfest's open rate was 44%, and the 2024 Holiday outreach came in at 42.4%.
