Scope of Work

  • My role was to increase digital engagement for Winikur Productions—a full-service media production company rooted in documentary filmmaking—through social media and email marketing to expand industry visibility with a focused push around their presence at the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) Conference.​

  • For the American Alliance of Museums Conference, I was tasked with brainstorming ideas, researching vendors for promotional marketing, ordering materials, crafting custom designs, and creating social media posts to promote the conference.

Strategic Approach

  • Content: Created a comprehensive digital outreach strategy integrating social media management, copywriting, and email marketing to keep the audience informed and engaged.

  • Research: Conducted keyword and hashtag research, along with adding appropriate mentions to maximize reach on social channels.

  • Design: Formatted email content with strong headline-to-body text ratios and structured sections to enhance readability.

  • Emails: Adhered to industry best practices, featuring compelling subject lines, clear calls to action (CTAs), and layouts designed to maximize open rates, click-through performance, and engagement.

  • Optimization: Ensured all emails were mobile-responsive, optimizing design elements as needed for a seamless mobile experience.

  • For Winikur’s presence at the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), I played a pivotal role in creating a retro viewer featuring Winikur film stills, designing a custom LED neon sign, and developing branded lens cloths as promotional giveaways.

Branding

  • All social posts, email campaigns, and trade show marketing adhered to Winikur’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistent use of color palettes, typographic styles, and messaging to strengthen brand recognition and industry leadership.

Marketing Results

  • The strategic marketing efforts for the AAM Conference resulted in a 20% increase in booth traffic compared to the previous year.
